Type: Installation

Audience: All ages

The installation invites critical reflection on the role of the mass media and the manipulation of information. .net is based on a central object, “the real”, the shadow of what is projected to generate diverse effects as an analogy of the various ways in which reality is represented.

The projection of the shadow of an object divided into multiple pieces evokes this manipulation and the shadow is the pure reality, what almost never tends to be represented. The object itself is also revealed before the spectator, thereby concluding the process that goes from objective reality to subjective perception.

The installation becomes an abstract representation of the information network we are exposed to and the various forms in which we receive information on reality.
