No queda tinte (Marina Salazar)

Night and day, good and evil, right and wrong, sacred and forbidden... In this divine ritual, we leave our candles to one side and start the ceremony with neon lights to reveal an erotic and festive piece which seeks to surprise the spectator with the revelation and interaction projected by its aura. Because, ultimately, everything we know about our light we have learnt from our darkness.

Marina Salazar is a graphic designer who, in her own words, has “artistic affairs”. In her project Lovjects, she transforms kitsch old porcelain figurines and adds new messages and critical codes brimming with political content, colour, humour and social controversy. Through a process of cultural recovery, she offers them a second chance at a new life and even to become icons. She likes to go beyond the boundaries of her discipline to explore and experiment with new techniques and languages.
