OBJ_H20 is the evolution — with the incorporation of water — of a previous installation from the Na.B3 (OBJ.1) collective that proposed a visual and sound metaphor on isolation based on the experience of the pandemic. This concern for issues that affect society is now transferred to the climate crisis, in particular, water as an element as desired as it is increasingly scarce. An interactive piece that plays with light and water, involving a pond in constant movement from the continuous drops that fall onto its surface. The drops not only bring movement to the pool’s water but also interact with a set of computational sounds that are activated every time a drop falls. A pool lit up with spot lights that constantly generate textures and shapes on the walls of the dark room. A work that interprets the dystopian course of the path towards drought where light plays the role of a nature relentless in its power.

Na.B3 Collective is a multi-disciplinary collective that tackles a number of research, experimentation and creation practices. It is especially interested in the articulation between art, science, body and technology as well as functions in the production of subjectivities. It works in the development of cross-disciplinary performances and processes through the preparation of devices that operate with the interaction of numerous organisms and experiences. The collective is committed to shared collaborative practices that are activated through decentralised strategies. They took part in the last edition of LlumBCN with a project entitled Jardí sideral, shared with two other artist collectives.
