Mover el viento [Moving the Wind] is an installation that renders the invisible visible, consisting of lights and sounds linked to the functions and actions of the Hangar building’s doors and windows. A system of motion sensors transforms the airflow of the building, as it is occupied and used, into a sensory experience. The installation becomes a real-time image of what we usually do not perceive: the flow of air through a space. A living, evolving sequence shot portrays the specific gestures that take place, either dispersively or simultaneously, within the same space: a window is opened to ventilate the studio, while another door is secured to allow access. The Ricson room thus becomes a film shot, the narrative of which is nothing more than a gestural portrait of the building that contains it: Hangar.
