Industrial engineer specialising in energy techniques in the Barcelona School of Industrial Engineering (ETSEIB) at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
In 1995, she joined the Buildings, Transport and Renewable Energy Division at the Catalan Energy Institute as a building technician. In 2000 she became head of the Municipal, Buildings and Transport Division at the Catalan Energy Institute, where in 2006 she became head of the Energy Saving and Efficiency Division. Since 2008, she has been Director of Energy and Environmental Quality at Barcelona City Council’s Environment Department.
