Yochai Benkler is an economist, lawyer, Lecturer at the Faculty of Law of Harvard University and codirector of the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at the same university.

A researcher into collaborative economy and management of online resources, he is the author of The Penguin and the Leviathan: How Cooperation Triumphs over Self-Interest (Crown Publishing Group, 2011), The Wealth of Networks. How Social Production Transforms Markets and Freedom (Yale University Press, 2006) and Network Propaganda: Manipulation, Disinformation, and Radicalization in American Politics (Oxford University Press, 2018).
