The proposal for the Moll de la Fusta (Passeig de Colom and Moll Bosch i Alsina) will mark a paradigm shift in how the city and the port face the climate emergency together and, at the same time, define a new relationship between the city and the sea. 

The project envisages taking advantage of the underground space of the current car park to enable the planting of greenery at city level, as well as a space for the urban distribution of goods. The aim is to transform the Moll de la Fusta into a new large green space functionally integrated into the Green Corridor of the Coastline to become a first-class climate refuge. The project also envisages a new connection between the city and the sea by strengthening the Sea Gateways projects, with the creation of a new gateway at Plaça del Duc de Medinaceli, which complements the current Via Laietana and Rambla gateways.
