    The Deià School of Art and Design was founded in 1989. It offers intermediate and advance vocational training courses, as well as higher education courses in design through the Catalan School of Design and Visual Arts (ESDAPC), equivalent to a university degree.

    The main courses of study are interior design, audiovisual graphics and the arts baccalaureate. The building is currently located in the Canyelles neighbourhood (Nou Barris district) opposite Collserola Park, and as an art school, it has several multi-purpose classrooms, workshops and an auditorium, as well as meeting and study spaces. It also has an outdoor garden area and a sports hall.
