Barcelona Dibuixa: take on the world of food!

It's time to show off your arty side! This year, 2021, under the motto “Take on the world of food”, museums, schools, civic centres, cultural facilities, universities, theatres and other venues in the city will be filled with the world of drawing, with a particular emphasis on all things culinary.

The Barcelona Dibuixa festival will be offering 36 workshops with something to suit all tastes (pun intended!) and all ages. You’ll get the chance to paint orchards and vegetable gardens, explore the universe contained inside each type of food, discover the secrets of the cuisine of the past, or capture the life cycle of autumn fruits and vegetables on paper. You can also learn all about carob - a fruit that Joan Miró always used to carry around in his suitcase - as well as invent future food production devices or decorate dishes with food-based dyes.
