Catalog of the temporary exhibition "Emotions. Images and gestures from the past and present" the main objective of which is to explore the world of emotions, such as pain, sadness, loneliness and compassion, which can be transmitted by Medieval and Renaissance Museum artworks, when they are placed next to works by contemporary artists (Bill Viola, Antoni Tàpies or Lucio Fontana).

The Museum's aim is to revitalise its art collection with a present-day take on timeless and universal feelings
