Addictive disorders: psychological perspectives

This spring the Visions of Science cycle is dedicated to the most common addictions.

The cycle Visions of Science, coordinated by LLuís Reales, takes place throughout the year. The aim is to disseminate science-related topics. It takes place on Monday at 19 am in the following libraries: Camp de l'Arpa - Caterina Albert, Les Corts - Miquel Llongueras, Vila de Gracia and Sagrada Familia-Josep M. Ainaud de LasarteAll lectures are free and can be followed/commented with the hashtag #VisionsCiència.

Addictions may be of a chemical or behavioural nature but they always involve a loss of self-control and a progressive deterioration of quality of life. The cycle examines the most frequent addictions and the roots of such forms of behaviour from several psychological perspectives.
