Design lovers mark your calendars: Barcelona Design Week
A week to enjoy activities for professionals and the general public, all over the city.
This is the fourteenth year of Barcelona Design Week and it just keeps getting better. This design festival is back in June, filling the city with activities associated with this discipline. A new chance to experience and enjoy a not-to-be-missed event on design, creativity and innovation in Barcelona, and one of the most important Design Weeks on the international calendar according to Dezeen. This event brings this discipline to the people and mobilises the sector to share the vitality of the design being done in our neighbourhoods with the world. For one week, anyone interested can participate in an extensive programme of more than 100 activities, noteworthy among which are the exhibitions on various topics, workshops to learn the practical side of various areas of design, conferences on specific topics and open doors days to learn about what organisations and studios do, plus events more for design professionals and businesspeople.
Many spaces have joined this edition of Barcelona Design Week to carry out the various activities. The main location is Disseny Hub Barcelona, but several design studios and other creative spaces will also be opening their doors. The whole programme will be held from 12 to 20 June at various times.
