“Boig per tu”, in the Teatre Borràs up until the 21st of April

Following last year’s success the musical by Sau returns with a revamped set design and wardrobe

"El tren de mitjanit", "Envia’m un àngel", "Això es pot salvar” and the evergreen title song are just some of the Sau songs that can be seen and heard live in the musical Boig per tu, which opened in the Teatre Borràs on the 14th of March. Last year’s resounding success, with more than 25,000 tickets sold, has given way to a new set design and wardrobe, and the revamped production can be seen up until the 21st of April.

Boig per tu (Crazy for you) was penned by Joan Gallart with artistic direction by Ricard Reguant (Grease, Chicago) and musical direction by Pep Sala, who personally supervises the 25 songs that make up the soundtrack for a storyline based around juvenile musical comedies.

The musical focuses on a group of young students who meet at the end of the school year, just before summer, to organise a birthday party and boast about their recent adventures. During the party the audience is regaled with a series of disappointments, desires and fears that accompany the youngsters on their journey into adulthood. With a total of twelve actors, two singers and five musicians, the musical offers a dynamic, healthy, positive and often humorous portrayal of young people unaffected by the world of drugs and alcohol.

The production company Silencio Rodamos have been entrusted with presenting the project, which transforms the songs of Carles Sabater (1962-1999) and Pep Sala into a two-hour musical full of the joys of life.
