Visit Casa Museu Amatller thanks to Cases Singulars

Casa Museu Amatller, a model of modernism in Barcelona

Cases Singulars are offering guided tours through this emblematic building in Barcelona's Eixample all year long.

The Casa Museu Amatller, right in the heart of the Eixample, is one of Barcelona’s modernist landmarks. Antoni Amatller, the third generation of a chocolatier family, is the promotor of this building, which he acquired in 1898 to make it his residence. Architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch was in charge of the renovation that left the building looking like it does today. Puig i Cadafalch is known in Barcelona for other works such as the Casa de les Punxes too.

Through the guided tours organized by the project Cases Singulars, you will discover the history of the Casa Museu Amatller and the chocolatier family that lived there. Besides, you will learn in detail about one of the city's most special buildings. Guided visits run from Thursdays to Sundays at different times depending on the language of the tour, and tickets cost 15 euros per person. You can book here. You can also book private group visits by sending an e-mail to casessingulars@casessingulars.com.
