ArquitecturaCatalana.cat, a digital file that grows daily

The Col·legi d’Arquitectes de Catalunya keeps updating this portal where you can consult the architecture of the Catalan territory.

If when you travel you like to visit buildings and monuments, this tool is for you. ArquitecturaCatalana.cat is the website launched in late 2019 by the Col·legi d’Arquitectes de Catalunya (COAC) with the aim of bringing the architectural elements of the territory closer to both professionals and citizens. It is a perfect tool to plan visits to the different Catalan cities and to get to know your city much better. This digital space contains the records of more than 2,000 works from between 1838, when the first industrial fireplace in Catalonia was built, until today. However, the intention is that this is a living tool and continues to be gradually updated with works of the past.

If you are willing to continue discovering the city of Barcelona, thanks to the map you will be able to navigate through the more than 900 works that are currently registered using the filter by population. The Arxiu Històric del Col·legi d’Arquitectes de Catalunya is one of them, but you can also visit, through photographs and information, buildings such as the Canòdrom de la Meridiana, the Casa Parés de Plet or the Habitatges Tokio.

In addition, you can also browse the web by authors, where there are more than 1,200 of them currently registered. An essential tool for both professional architects and amateurs.
