Sara Pinaque will inaugurate the cycle with the conference-concert ‘Records’

‘Clàssica els dijous’ winter cycle

The Reial Acadèmia de Belles Arts de Sant Jordi organises four meetings between January 14 and February 4.

This January 14 the cycle for classical music lovers begins again, ‘Clàssica els dijous’ at the Reial Acadèmia de Belles Arts de Sant Jordi. On this occasion, and until February 4, they have scheduled four meetings for fans of classical music. The first, on Thursday 14, will feature the ‘Records’ (memories) concert, with pianist Sara Pinaque, also accompanied by a lecture. Music by Clementi, Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Kabalevsky, Albéniz and Liszt will be performed and discussed. Thursday 21 will be Fedor Veselov’s turn with the concert ‘Sonates russes del segle XX’ (20th Century Russian Sonatas), a review of some works by Rachmaninov, Skriabin and Prokofiev for piano.

On Thursday 28 there will be another session of the conference-concert ‘Records’, this time with Pamela Beine on the piano and David Fonseca on the violin. The duo will perform works by Kreisler, Paganini, Tchaikovsky, Bartok, Beethoven and Prokofiev, which will be used to dialogue. Finally, on February, Thursday 4, you can enjoy works by Soler, Vivaldi, Bach, Giuliani, Beethoven and Schnittke by Olga Kobékina on the clef and Sergi Vicente on the Spanish guitar.
