Dani Flaco inaugurates this years’ edition of Barnasants

The festival will take place from the 23rd of January to the 30th of March

L’Hospitalet-born singer, Dani Flaco, has been entrusted with the inauguration of the latest edition of the Barnasants festival. The Tete Montoliu hall of l’Auditori will host not one, but two Flaco concerts, on the 23rd and 24th of January, both of which will be opportunities for the singer to present his latest release, his sixth, entitled “Versos y madera” (Verses and wood), in which he distances himself from more rock-influenced registers and leans more towards folk in an album that is more acoustic and personal than its predecessors.

The double date with the L’Hospitalet singer is just the beginning of Barnasants and the festival still holds dozens of concerts in store up until its closure on the 30th of March, most of which will take place in Barcelona. Over the upcoming weeks we will have the chance to see, among many others, artists such as Quico, El Cèlio, El Noi i El Mut de Ferreries, Andreu Valor, Depedro, María del Mar Bonet, Feliu Ventura, Pau Alabajos, Cesk Freixas, Miquel Gil, Rafael Subirachs, and a performance entitled General Moragues consisting of protest songs from throughout history.
