First exhibition space dedicated to the NFT phenomenon in Europe at Moco Museum

The innovation that redefines ownership in digital art

The Moco Museum inaugurates the first space dedicated to the NFT phenomenon in Europe.

The Moco Museum, known for its commitment to the artistic avant-garde, has opened its latest exhibition, The (New) Future. This groundbreaking event marks the first exhibition space in Europe dedicated exclusively to NFT (Non Fungible Tokens) art, a form of artistic expression based on blockchain technology. NFTs, or Non-Fungible Tokens, are unique digital assets that use this technology to certify their authenticity, ownership and traceability. Unlike traditional cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin or Ethereum, which are fungible and can be exchanged for identical units, NFTs represent and value unique and irreproducible digital items, such as works of art, videos, music or virtual objects and collectibles.

Each NFT contains specific information that distinguishes it from other tokens, making it unique. This data is recorded in a decentralised and transparent ledger, known as blockchain, which allows the authenticity and ownership of each NFT to be verified and guaranteed.

The exhibition, in collaboration with leading collectors of this type of art, including the anonymous 33NFT, presents an exceptional selection of digital artworks by some of the most influential artists in the field of NFT art. Visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a world of boundless creativity, exploring the fascinating convergence of art and technology.

NFTs allow artists to authenticate and sell their creations in a secure and transparent manner. This unprecedented exhibition aims to educate the public on the importance and impact of NFTs in the contemporary cultural industry.

The exhibition presents a wide variety of works by internationally recognised artists such as Pak, Six N. Five, Beeple, JR, Andrés Reisinger, Refik Anadol, Pilar Zeta and Takashi Murakami. Each piece of digital art on display challenges traditional artistic conventions and questions our perception of what is possible in the digital world.

In addition to the exhibition, the Moco Museum has launched its own NFT platform, called Mocovers, which allows digital art enthusiasts to delve even deeper into this exciting form of art making. Visitors will also be able to join the Mocovers Discord community, where they can interact with other NFT art lovers and explore topics related to creating, buying and selling digital art.

The experience is not limited to the exhibition. Visitors can also enjoy the Moco Concept Store, a unique space where they can purchase limited edition art pieces, modern and contemporary masterpieces, NFT and other manifestations of digital art. This shop offers an immersive and personalised shopping experience, allowing visitors to take away a taste of this new art.

An excellent opportunity for those interested in exploring the limits of creativity and discovering the most innovative and avant-garde artistic expressions of digital art. Tickets can be purchased from this link.
