‘Colour, matter...gesture!’

Last month of ‘Colour, matter...gesture!’

The Galeria Marc Domènech is presenting this group exhibition of artists from the second half of the 20th century.

Before summer holidays, the Galeria Marc Domènech opened the exhibition entitled Colour, matter… gesture!, which brings together works by different artists from the second half of the 20th century. What all the creations have in common are the factors that appear in the name: they play with colour, matter and the gestures used to make them. Visitors can see works by artists like Rafael Canogar, Luis Feito, Joan Furriols, José Guerrero, Wifredo Lam, André Masson, Manolo Millares, Joan Miró, Zoran Music, Joan Hernández Pijuan, Manuel Rivera, Antoni Tàpies, Esteban Vicente and Moisès Villèlia. This show falls in line with the gallery’s main goal: to showcase 20th-century art, the art of the avant-gardes and the leading national and international artists from this period. As you can see from the list, not only does the gallery display works by famous artists, but they also like to revive figures who are not as well-known today but whom they believe deserve another opportunity.

The exhibition “Colour, matter… gesture!” has been up since 28 June and will be open to the public until Monday, 30 September. The Galeria Marc Domènech can be visited Monday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm and from 4 to 8 pm. It opens on Saturdays by appointment only.

Anyone may visit the gallery free of charge. You can find complete information on the gallery website.
