Coordinators from 16 European projects within the progamme share difficulties and discuss its development

Management at Creativity and Innovation ICUB is participating in the FI-PPP programme (Future - Internet Public Private Partnership) which is a European innovation programme on the internet that is trying to accelerate its development towards a European market for smart infrastructure and thereby increasing the effectiveness of business processes across the network.

The programme is divided into several phases and the workshop that takes place on 5th and 6th May in Disseny Hub will be attended by the 16 European projects participating in the third phase. The main objective of this workshop is to share difficulties among members of the 16 projects and have their first experience of working with the expert team of supervisors.

The FI-PPP programme aims to transform internet perception and possibilities of the next generation by bringing together leading content providers, gaming companies, hardware manufacturers, research institutes, etc., that can help communicate current needs and real research. Likewise, the project addresses several key areas in which the internet can improve the quality of service, direct connectivity and content monitoring etc.

In 2003 Barcelona hosted “Hacia un experimentación transfronteriza con European Stakeholders” (A European cross-border stakeholders experiment) which was a meeting for partners of the programme. In this meeting of minds participants shared the vision, objectives and results of the programme before starting the next phase.
