Ian McEwan to present his latest novel at CCCB

He is scheduled to appear in conversation with Antonio Lozano on Thursday 9 March.

Award-winning British author Ian McEwan is scheduled to speak about his latest novel Nutshell at 6.30pm on Thursday 9 March at Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB), as part of the Kosmopolis 2017 festival. Born in Aldershot (England) in 1948, McEwan is one of the most acclaimed novelists currently working in the English language, whose work includes titles like The Cement Garden (1978), Enduring Love (1997), Atonement (2001) and The Children Act (2014).

His latest novel is a retelling of Shakespeare’s Hamlet from an original point of view: the narrator is an unborn baby. McEwan will be talking to journalist Antonio Lozano, who is a habitual collaborator with various media outlets and is also the coordinator of the CCCB and Biblioteca Agustí Centelles’ bookclub.

Additional information is available on the CCCB website.
