Lang Lang in concert at L'Auditori

A unique opportunity to see and hear one of the finest contemporary pianists in concert

Lang Lang’s breakthrough came in 1999 when he was 17 years old with a dramatic last minute substitution (presented by Isaac Stern) for an indisposed André Watts at the "Season of the Century" Festival in Ravinia, in which he played Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto Number 1 with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. His fame has continued to grow ever since and he has become a multiple award-winning media figure, as well as performing in the world’s top venues and working with some of the great masters (Ozawa, Jansons, Barenboim, Dudamel, Rattle, Harnoncourt...). So, his appearance at L'Auditori is a rare chance to see one of the greatest pianists of recent times in concert in Barcelona.

The concert is scheduled for the 24th of February, and Lang Lang will be playing The Seasons , Op. 37 by Tchaikovsky, Bach’s Italian Concerto BWV 971 and four of Chopin’s scherzos. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to see one of the best contemporary pianists in concert, interpreting key compositions in an acoustically perfect venue like L’Auditori.
