Samantha Robinson in 'The Love Witch'

Last sessions in the Gandules film cycle at CCCB

'The Wicker Man', 'Ganja & Hess' and 'The Love Witch' will be screened from 21 to 23 August.

Barcelona’s Centre for Contemporary Culture (CCCB) is hosting the final stretch of the Gandules '18, open-air film cycle. In total, there have been nine screenings in the cycle, all of which are films selected by art critic Mery Lacuesta, concerned with the themes of magic, altered states and the occult, coinciding with the exhibition "Black Light", which can be seen at CCCB until 21 October.

The last three films in the cycle will be screened on three consecutive evenings, from 21 to 23 August, starting with Robin Hardy's 1973 cult classic The Wicker Man on 21 August, followed the next day by Bill Gunn’s experimental/horror movie Ganja & Hess. Bringing the cycle to an end, on Thursday 23 August, is Anna Biller’s 2016 film The Love Witch.

All three films are recommended for people over 16 year of age and admission is free. Additional information is available at the following link.
