Mr. Sí, live at the Music Hall

The band will present “11 canciones en cuarto menguante” on the 24th of October

The Barcelona band Mr. Sí will be presenting their debut album on the 24th of October in the Music Hall on La Rambla Catalunya. The album is titled 11 canciones en cuarto menguante (11 songs in the last quarter) and while it is the band’s first release, the members are not new to the music scene.

David Peris, the leader, singer and composer of the 11 songs on the album, was previously in Misifu, a project which included drummer Félix Fanlo, who is also in Mr. Sí. The rest of the band consists of Raúl Arias, guitarist and producer of the album, Tito Bonacera on bass, Quim Zango on guitar and vocals and Alfred Vidiella on keyboards.

The Style of Mr. Sí can easily be defined within the parameters of pop-rock, though with tendencies towards classic North American genres such as roots rock, soul and blues. The Spanish lyrics and vocal style of Peris may remind listeners of bands such as M-Clan, Los Ronaldos, or even Los Rodríguez.

The release of the album was made possible through a crowdfunding initiative which raised more than two thousand euros and helped to finance the mastering of the recording and the manufacture of copies.
