The New Raemon live at sala Apolo

The Barcelona-based group will present their latest E.P. 'El Yeti'.

The New Raemon is one of the leading Catalan indie groups right now. Led by Ramón Rodríguez, the band was founded in 2008 with Ricky Falkner and Ricky Lavado of Standstill, and the same year they released their first album 'A Propósito de Garfunkel' (Cydonia/BCore Disc, 2008). A lot of water has flowed under the bridge since then, especially in terms of releases, because The New Raemon has made a total of 7 albums. The latest one, 'Oh, Rompehielos', received very favourable reviews in the music press and was also favourably received by their faithful and ever-growing fan base. The recently released E.P. 'El Yeti' includes previously unreleased songs from the 'Oh, Rompehielos' recording sessions, while the B side consists of versions of songs by Love of Lesbian (Los niños del mañana), Mishima (L'Estrany) and Julio de la Rosa (Maldiciones Comunes).

The New Raemon will be presenting 'El Yeti' on Friday 29th of January at Sala Apolo, along with a selection from their extensive backlog of songs. Tickets are available here. Don't miss them!
