Swab Barcelona

Swab Barcelona brings the latest trends in art

This is the 12th edition of the fair that brings together gallery owners, artists, curators and collectors from all over the world.

In 2006, the art collector Joaquín Díez-Cascón founded Swab Barcelona, the contemporary art fair which brings together artists, galleries, curators and collectors from the emerging art scene around the globe. For four days, visitors will be able to discover the latest and most innovative artistic proposals, as well as learn about artists from all over the world from many different disciplines. With their talent, they are all pushing the boundaries of expression and laying out the course of art to come. This year will be the twelfth edition of Swab Barcelona, and it will feature more than 70 galleries from 5 different continents. Close to 15,000 visitors are expected, and they can participate in different curated programmes, prizes and activities which will go beyond the walls of the fair and bring art to the city of Barcelona, as always. Art professionals will find it to be an outstanding place to connect with other people to forge synergies and expand the horizons of the art market, while fans will be able to enjoy a wide variety of fascinating works.

This edition of Swab Barcelona is being held at the Italian Pavilion in Fira de Barcelona on Montjuïc, right across from the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion. It will be from 26 to 29 September, all day long at different times.

A pass for the entire festival costs €30, but day passes are also available for 12. You can buy them in advance on the Swab Barcelona website.
