Swan Lake is back for Christmas

Tchaikovsky's classic ballet comes to the Auditori to thrill all generations.

The ballet returns to the Auditori for Christmas. Swan Lake is a work that moves, for its scenic beauty in the representation of a love story that has transcended generations. An incredible production by the Tchaikovsky National Ballet that captures the romantic setting of the most authentic classical ballet.

Swan Lake brings love and magic closer to the audience, with great delicacy and a staging full of talent. The eternal struggle between good and evil is played by Prince Sigfrid, who falls in love with Odette. The young girl, however, falls under the malediction of the evil Von Rothbart, who turns her into a swan during the day. The only way to break the enchantment is a promise of love that leads to marriage. A confession that the young woman makes to the prince when he goes out hunting with his group and finds her transformed into a swan. The prince, in response, swears that in the morning, at the palace party, he will choose her as his wife and, thus, the slander will end.

The conflict arises when Von Rothbart brings his daughter Odile, disguised as Odette, to the party, but dressed in black, at which point the famous Pas-a-deux of the Black Swan is performed. This strategy manages to deceive the prince who swears his love for Odile, unwittingly betraying his true love. Odette, as soon as she becomes aware of it, decides to put an end to her life because she does not want to remain transformed into a swan forever. But Sigfrid acts before this fateful end, challenging Rothbart to fight. In the end, love triumphs over any setback.

A captivating love story to enjoy the spirit of classical ballet with the virtuoso double role of Odette-Odile and the excellent music of Tchaikovsky. An experience that must be seen!
