The crisis in education fully coincides with a technological revolution that is transforming education in all areas and at all levels, from primary to university. Whether we are talking about the digital whiteboard and the tablet or the new large-scale online courses typical of e-learning, the promotion of ICT must go hand in hand with educational innovation that will restore the value of attention, seriously threatened by a bombardment of stimuli and distractions.
