Daniel Genís Mas (Castelló d'Empúries, 1977) is a writer and secondary school teacher. He has a bachelor's degree in Catalan and Hispanic Language and Literature, as well as a PhD in Literature. He has published several works revolving around morals, history and political thought in mediaeval and present-day Catalonia. He has worked as a consultant for Pagès Editors' Ciència-ficció collection and currently works for Laertes Editorial's L'Arcà collection. He also directs El Biblionauta, the leading Catalan-language fantasy literature website. His first novel, Uns déus ferotges, was published this year.

Miquel Codony (Santa Coloma de Gramenet, 1976), doctor and secondary school teacher, was co-organiser of the MIRcon/Hispacon (Montcada i Reixac, 2014) and BCon/EuroCon (Barcelona, 2016) fantasy literature festivals. He writes for the El Biblionauta website and is one of the promoters of the Neo Nostromo podcast, and the video podcast The Spoiler Club. Miquel leads the fantasy literature reading club at the Montcada i Reixac library.

Raül Maigí (Vilanova i la Geltrú, 1974) is a journalist and cultural manager. He collaborates with the world of publishing on a regular basis and is a passionate reader of fantasy literature, as well as the creator of Les Rades Grises, a column in the newspaper Avui that evolved into a fantasy and science fiction blog in Catalan.

Karen Madrid Ribas (Tordera, 1985) is a journalist at Ràdio Sabadell where she presents Quimèric, a programme dedicated to creations in the fantasy genre. She has been moderating a reading club at the Vapor Badia Library in Sabadell since 2017, also linked to the programme. She recently joined the board of the Catalan Science Fiction and Fantasy Society, and has served as a jury member at several literary and film competitions.

Leticia Lara is a compulsive reader. Together with Cristina Jurado Marcos she has edited science fiction anthologies such as Alucinadas, and has discovered that as well as reading, she likes to share the literary discoveries she makes on the blog Fantástica - Ficción.

Cristina Jurado Marcos (Madrid, 1972) was born in Madrid but studied Advertising and Public Relations in Seville and Rhetoric in the United States. She now lives in Dubai. She is an author of fantasy and sci-fi who writes in both Spanish and English and already boasts a number of Ignotus Awards. In 2015 she founded the magazine Supersonic. She is also an editor at the online fantasy magazine Apex Magazine and has edited anthologies including, among others, Alucinadas (with Leticia Lara), a collection of works by Spanish sci-fi authors. She has also written short stories that have been published in various magazines and anthologies. In addition, she has written novels such as Bionautas and the book of short stories Mil desiertos, which was published this year and in which she deals with subjects ranging from ecology to spaceships, motherhood and corruption.

Daniel Pérez Castrillón (Asturias, 1990) is a total bibliophile, series lover and passionate film buff. Known on the networks as @Mangrii, his focus is on science fiction and fantasy, although he is also drawn to many other cultural spheres, including young adult literature, manga and comics. A bookseller by profession, he is the administrator of the literature and comics blog Boy with Letters, editor of the magazine Windumanoth, and an occasional contributor to the blog El Peso del Aire.

Sergi Viciana Fernández (Sabadell, 1977) has a bachelor's degree in History and in Literary Theory and Comparative Literature, as well as a master's degree in the latter discipline from the University of Barcelona. He is probably Spain's leading zombie expert. He has worked for publishers including Minotauro, Timun Mas and Fantascy, among others. He coordinates the Fantifica community and, together with the writer Susana Vallejo, hosts a weekly podcast called Vicio y Subcultura.
