As summer draws to a close, a women drives during the night, without knowing that the solitary house she is driving to is in strange, out-of-this-world territory. She hasn’t told anybody where she is headed and is taking a sister with her that has suffocated. She will step into a house inhabited by women who all dress the same, participate in an ancestral cult and participate in strange rituals. A blind woman who is revered by all the inhabitants and a girl who scampers around complete the list of residents in this place full of trees, on the banks of a huge lake, where birds constantly fly overhead. Perhaps our protagonist will find a place that she can form part of here, but even still...
