Arantxa Rochet

Arantxa Rochet, born in Madrid in 1979, hold a degree in journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid and holds a master’s degree in narrative from the Escuela de Escritores in Madrid. She has published the science fiction book Jaulas de aire [Air Cages] and contributed to the short story collections II Premio Ripley [2nd Ripley Prize], XXX Premio Ana María Matute [30th Ana María Matute Prize] and Actos de F.E. [Acts of F.E.], as well as to the poetry anthology Voces nuevas [New Voices] and the writing handbook Escribir fantástico [Writing the Fantastic]. Her latest book is Carne de arena [Flesh of Sand]. She currently teaches at the Escuela de Escritores in Madrid, among other engagements.
