Fonda Lee
Fonda Lee, born in Calgary in 1979, is a speculative fiction author best known for the Green Bone Saga, which includes the novels Jade City, Jade War and Jade Legacy, along with the prequel The Jade Setter of Janloon and the short story collection Jade Shards. The saga has been translated into fifteen languages, and Jade City was named one of the 100 greatest fantasy books of all time by Time magazine. Fonda Lee has won the World Fantasy Award and the Locus Award, and has received Canada’s national science fiction and fantasy prize, the Aurora Award, on four occasions. She has also been shortlisted for the Nebula, Hugo and Ignotus awards.
