Grady Hendrix
Grady Hendrix, born in Charleston in 1972, is a novelist and screenwriter who won the Bram Stoker Award for his non-fiction book Paperbacks from Hell and has been nominated for the Shirley Jackson and Locus Awards for Horrorstör, My Best Friend’s Exorcism and We Sold Our Souls. Hendrix gained critical acclaim with The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires and The Final Girl Support Group and became a bestseller in the United States with How to Sell a Haunted House and Witchcraft for Wayward Girls. In addition to this latest novel, his satirical space-exploration story Badasstronauts was also published in Spanish this year.
