Javier Prado Coronel
Javier Prado Coronel, born in Seville in 1998, is an author, screenwriter, illustrator and communicator specialising in mythology, folklore and legends. He has written and illustrated books such as Monstruos ibéricos: ogros y asustaniños españoles [Iberian Monsters: Ogres and Spanish Bogeymen] and Breve viaje por la España de las brujas [A Brief Journey Through a Witches’ the Spain], co-written with Clara Dies and winner of the Ignotus Awards for Best Essay and Best Illustration. He curates the mythology section at the Celsius 232 festival and has contributed to RNE, the radio show El dragón invisible [The Invisible Dragon] and the fiction podcast Noviembre Nocturno [Nocturnal November].
