Jordi Nopca
Jordi Nopca, born in Barcelona in 1983, is a writer and journalist. With degrees in journalism and literary theory, he is an editor and coordinator of the weekly books supplement Ara Llegim in Ara newspaper, where he has published over a thousand articles. His novel La teva ombra [Your Shadow] won the inaugural Proa Prize in 2019. He previously published the short-story collection Puja a casa – translated into Spanish, English [Come On Up] and Dutch – and the novel El talent [The Talent]. He has also contributed to short-story anthologies, including Nits d’estiu [Summer Nights] and Barcelona 2059. Nopca’s most recent novel is the fable El futur és una petita flama [The Future Is a Small Flame].
