Lola Robles, born in Madrid in 1963, holds a degree in Hispanic languages and literatures and is the author of the novels El informe Monteverde [The Monteverde Report] and Más allá de Concordia [Beyond Concordia], as well as the short-story collection Naturalezas muertas con minerales [Still Lifes with Minerals]. She received the Gabriel Award from Pórtico–AEFCFT for her work promoting non-realist genres, especially by women authors, and the honorary Droids and Druids Award for literary outreach.
