Manuel Sanjulián
Manuel Sanjulián, born in Barcelona in 1940, is an illustrator known for his fantasy artwork and iconic covers for magazines and novels. He worked for Fox and Bruguera before joining the art agency Selecciones Ilustradas and later Norma Editorial. Sanjulián gained international recognition for his covers for Warren Publishing, DC Comics and Creepy, and is especially known for his illustrations for the Vampirella and Conan the Barbarian series. He has also illustrated historical novels and has worked on projects such as The Empire Strikes Back. Influenced by Velázquez and American cinema, he is a member of the Society of Illustrators and continues to produce high-quality work in both pencil and oil painting.
