Nadia Hafid

Nadia Hafid, born in Terrassa in 1990, is a comics author. She earned her undergraduate degree in fine arts from the University of Barcelona and studied mural applied arts at the Escola Llotja. As an illustrator, she has worked with a range of national and international media outlets, including The New York Times, The Economist, The New Yorker, The Washington Post, El País and La Vanguardia. She took part in the CCCB exhibition Constel·lació gràfica [Graphic Constellation] and has published El buen padre [The Good Father] (Best Emerging Author Award from the Spanish Comics Critics’ Association) and Chacales (Ojo Crítico Prize from RNE). Her most recent graphic novel is Mala olor [Bad Smell] (Finestres Prize for Comics in Catalan).
