In-forma’t’ activities are mainly aimed at young people, but there are also sessions for groups at schools and youth organisations, workshops for families with teenagers and talks geared towards professionals working with young people. The activities are organised into four sections to respond to the needs and situation of each person:

  • Who am I and what do I like? Focused on defining a young person’s academic and professional profile through their interests, motivations and aptitudes.
  • What paths can I choose? To discover academic paths. This section also includes sessions about the Catalan education system for speakers of Arabic, Urdu and Chinese.
  • What options are there? Teachers from different education centres explain the options for studying baccalaureate courses, training cycles, university degrees and non-regulated training. This year’s programme includes activities about craft trades and artistic studies.
  • Is it like I think it is? The last section includes encounters with students and professionals so that young people can speak to them openly and get a better insight into the tasks and studies they’re interested in.

All the activities are free and require registration in advance. You’ll find them on the list of activities for In-forma’t 2024.

‘In-forma’t’ is organised by Joves de Barcelona, the municipal service offering personalised, free and confidential academic and professional support. Academic advice, help with academic procedures and mentoring and guidance programmes are just some of the activities they offer.
