One of the most notable new features will arrive in the spring, coinciding with the fifteenth anniversary of the Muntanya Russa rollercoaster and adding the possibility of enjoying and immersive experience all around the route. VR goggles will enable users to travel from space to the bottom of the sea, with images created especially for Tibidabo.

The summer also brings virtual reality to the historical Edifici Cel this summer, a building dating back to the 1920s which can now also be visited with a unique immersive experience. There’s also a new image for the Diavolo and Carrusel rides, plus a revamp to the children’s ride La Granota, planned for the summer.

Shows, educational activities and solidarity events

As for shows, the children’s character Geronimo Stilton is back during the first months of the season. The park’s four mascots, Ti, Bi, Da and Bo, will also be out in force again throughout the season.

The Marionetarium starts the season with the travelling show Pallassos de fusta [Wooden Clowns], winner of the best puppet design and best visual show at the Shanghai International Puppet Festival. April also brings the new show Monetarium 2023, with new puppets.

During the summer evenings, the park regains the Laser Show, which last year alone attracted over 25,000 people.

This season brings a broader range of educational activities at Tibidabo, with a new option for pupils in the first four years of primary school to enjoy an educational day about sustainable mobility in the setting provided by the amusement park. There’s also a new edition of the Fisidabo 2K on 19 May, offering a full day of science activities for students in their final year of secondary education.

From a social perspective, twenty activities are planned throughout the year. These include established solidary events such as the “Festa del Cor”, “Posa’t la gorra”, “Estiu sense barreres”, “Cançó de Pau” etc.

Improved facilities

Weatherproofing work and the renewal of structures at three spaces should be completed before the summer, at the viewing area, the covered viewing area and the dodgems. During this first half of the year, work will also be carried out to transform the restaurant La Masia, opened in 1901, to strengthen its structure and renew its image.
