Albert Pijuan (Calafell, 1985) holds a Degree in Political Science and Philosophy. He has published the novel El franctirador [The Sniper] (Angle, 2014), the unclassifiable Ramon Llull. Ara i aquí [Ramon Llull. Here and Now] (Angle, 2016), the book of short stories Seguiràs el ritme del fantasma jamaicà [You Will Follow the Rhythm of the Jamaican Ghost] (Angle, 2017) and Tsunami (City of Tarragona Narrative Award 2020 and Finestres Narrative Award 2021). 

He has published and premiered some fifteen plays, some of which have been staged internationally, such as Escola de gossos [Dog School], Nix tuSimona and Mort d’un pare vietnamita [Death of a Vietnamese Father].
