Anthropologist
A social anthropologist specialising in care, gender and ageing. Dolors Comas d’Argemir is Emeritus Professor at Universitat Rovira i Virgili.
Her expertise has led her to act as an adviser at the European Parliament during the development of the European Care Strategy. She has also sat on the Advisory Board for Care at the Spanish Ministry of Equality, and the Civil Dialogue Table on Dependency at the Spanish Ministry of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and the 2030 Agenda. She has also collaborated with the Generalitat Government of Catalonia to create the Strategy for a Long-Lived Society and a Full Life. Currently, she serves on the Spanish committee for the renewal of the United Nations’ Ageing Strategy.
