Philosopher, journalist and screenwriter

Joan Burdeus works as a columnist and cultural critic for various media outlets. The bulk of his work is for Núvol, the digital magazine for culture in Catalan, where he is the editor-in-chief and head of the “Pantalles” [Screens] section, in which he publishes articles on television, film, digital culture and contemporary thought every week.

He was editor-in-chief of Betevé’s documentary series Lògic: Arxiu Cultural [Logic: Cultural Archive] and has worked on several fiction projects as a scriptwriter and director, including the short film Trobar-te [Meeting You] (2018), selected at various festivals, and the web series Welcome to Berlin, runner-up at the Festival Zoom Igualada in 2017.
