Mayo Fuster Morell

Expert in on-line communities and collaborative production

Mayo Fuster is a social activist and expert in on-line communities and collaborative production and a member of the Open Knowledge Foundation and the Wikimedia Foundation.

She is head of research into the sharing economy at the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute at the University Oberta de Catalunya, researcher at the Institute of Governance and Public Policies of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and a fellow professor of the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University. She is co-author of Repensar la política en la era de los movimientos y las redes (Icaria, 2008), Més enllà d’internet com a eina “martell” de la vella política: cap a un nou Policy Making? (Institut de Govern i Polítiques Públiques de la UAB, 2012), and Procomún digital y cultura libre. ¿Hacia un cambio de época? (Icaria, 2015).
