Marcos Carvalho-Canto

Marcos Carvalho-Canto is head of documentary studies at the Contemporary Architecture Archives Centre of the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine. Trained as an architect, he works especially in the classification of archive resources, restoration management and the enhancement of collections. He has participated in actions to defend the Maison du Peuple in Clichy (Eugène Beaudouin and Marcel Lods, architects) and to recognise the heritage value of the garden city of Butte Rouge (Joseph Bassompierre, Paul de Rutté and Paul Sirvin, architects; André Riousse, landscape architect).
