Soon after its opening in late 2005, the building that houses the Jaume Fuster Library, designed by Josep Llinàs, won the FAD Architecture Award. Today, it’s considered one of the gems of the district not only thanks to its architectural value, but also because of its document collection, one of the best in Barcelona’s public library network.
Located in Gràcia’s Plaça Lesseps, this airy geometric structure, built on top of abandoned metro depots and workshops, is a true neighbourhood landmark.
