Table talks

Sobremesa is neither a conference nor a lecture. It is not a formal meeting or a tightly structured talk. There are no speakers, and no fixed audience.

Sobremesa is a series of informal conversations—an opportunity to gather a group of people in a relaxed setting to discuss topics often overlooked in mainstream architectural discussions. Here, the subjects for debate are literally placed on the table: academic research, curatorial and exhibition projects, scenographic spaces, and more.

In this special edition of Architecture Weeks, the goal is to bring this casual atmosphere to public space. The aim is to foster a pleasant conversation that invites passers-by to stop, explore the objects, people, and ideas around them, and perhaps even join in the discussion—much like those post-meal chats that no one wants to end.
