    The Tàpies Museum was created in 1984 by the artist Antoni Tàpies with a view to promoting the study and understanding of modern and contemporary art. It takes a multi-faceted and interdisciplinary approach, holding temporary exhibitions, symposia, lectures and film series, releasing publications that complement the activities and hosting regular shows of the work of Antoni Tàpies.
