Guided tour of three buildings designed by Lluís Domènech i Montaner
The tour begins with a visit to the Tàpies Museum, housed in the former offices of the Montaner i Simon publishing house, designed by the Catalan Modernist architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner. This part of the tour focuses on the history of the publishing house. We then visit another two buildings designed by the same architect, both of which have close ties with the publishing house: the Palau Montaner, now the seat of the Delegation of the Spanish Government in Catalonia, and Casa Thomas, which is now home to the Cubiñá design furniture store.
