Urban walking tour along Avinguda Diagonal and the surrounding area to discover some FAD Award-winning buildings for Architecture and Interior Design

The tour, led by architect Pedro Capriata, offers the chance to discover outstanding—yet often lesser-known—projects that have helped establish Barcelona as an international benchmark in architecture and design.

It will highlight the history and significance of the FAD Awards for Architecture and Interior Design as a driving force behind high-quality design across various categories, including architecture, interior design, and urban spaces, with a focus on their impact on the city's development.

The selected projects span a broad timeline, from the 1950s to the early decades of the 21st century, allowing us to trace the evolution of architectural paradigms over time through the unique contribution of each building.

Each project will be explained with insights into its authors and historical context to better understand its significance.
